Nankai activity group on applied mathematics,
computational
science and interdisciplinary studies consists of interested faculty, postdocs
and students from various schools on the campus of Nankai University with a
common goal to promote academic activities in computational science and
interdisciplinary studies. Interdisciplinary studies have rapidly permeated in
near every aspect of Mathematics, Science and Engineering disciplines. It is
evolving into an indispensable scientific research mode among researchers across
the whole spectrum of the scientific community. Through the platform of the
activity group, we hope to create an active and lively scientific environment on
the campus of Nankai and beyond, and make significant impact on our research in the emerging area and
enhance the reputation of our programs as well as our Universities through highlighting
our research achievements.
